Payroll Processing - 10 Employees & Contractors
5 hours per month | Basic Retainer | California
Manage Rippling onboarding and payroll processing. This includes adding new hires to Rippling, processing payroll, responding to state and federal tax and benefit notices, setting up 401(k), and general support to leadership regarding HR questions that periodically come up.
Payroll & HR Support - 35 Employees
10 hours per month | Standard Retainer | Multi-State
A growing, multi-entity business relies on 10 hours a month to run payroll across three entities, onboard new employees onto Rippling, and handle general HR questions and tax notices as they come up. I’m introduced directly to the team, so employees — not just leadership — can reach out to me with day-to-day questions on policies, time off, and benefits.
HR Leadership & Rippling Support - 50 Employees
20 hours per month | Premium Retainer | Multi-State
A company in an active growth phase uses 20+ hours a month for both operational HR and Rippling strategy: managing payroll processing across two entities, leading onboarding and offboarding, and driving Rippling projects including onboarding automation, a custom app build, and new module rollouts. Beyond the day-to-day, I work alongside leadership on the strategic HR decisions that let them scale without breaking the processes already in place.
Pricing
Retainers starting at $1,000 per month
Fractional HR support is retainer-only, and every retainer is customized to fit your organization. Below are the three most common packages.
Basic - $1,000/month (5 hours)
- Best for: small businesses (fewer than 10 employees), or companies with an existing HR team or team member
- Included support: 5 hours of emails, meetings, projects, and hands-on support — working directly with HR and leadership
- Team access: generally not employee-facing, unless part of a larger project
- Email & scheduling: work from my HolmGrown Solutions email, or be assigned a company email address; you’ll get a scheduling link to book time with me from one day out up to three weeks out; if I’m on a company email, my calendar stays current for your team’s scheduling
Standard - $1,750/month (10 hours)
- Best for: growing teams, or larger teams with a dedicated HR team that needs direction or has a number of projects on the horizon
- Included support: 10 hours of emails, meetings, projects, hands-on support, payroll processing, and more
- Team access: if assigned a company email, I’m introduced to your team as your HR support, and employees can reach out to me directly with HR-related questions
- Email & scheduling: company provided email is synced with my HolmGrown Solutions email to ensure scheduling is quick and easy for the team. If working from my HolmGrown Solutions email instead, you’ll get a scheduling link with next-day availability, up to three weeks out
Premium - $3,500/month (20 hours)
- Best for: teams in a growth phase, or those without a dedicated HR team or team member
- Included support: emails, meetings, projects, hands-on support, payroll processing, leadership/management coaching, employee relations, and more
- Team access: introduced to your team as your HR support, with employees able to reach out to me directly
- Email & scheduling: I manage a company email account for this package, with my calendar kept current for scheduling
Retainer hours do not roll over month to month. Additional hours beyond your retainer are billed at $200/hour — still handled with the same care, just not prioritized ahead of retainer work.

Allison founded HolmGrown Solutions in 2021 after more than a decade in corporate HR, including leading a team of 20+ HR professionals as Head of Human Resources for a large Chicago-based corporation. Today she’s a Rippling Preferred Partner, helping growing businesses get their systems and their HR right at the same time.
